The SGC has sent many of their teams to places where they've encountered many species, diseases, and combat. A good medical team is important. From Seasons One through Seven, the SGC's Chief Medical Officer was Dr. Janet Fraiser, and in Season Nine, Dr. Carolyn Lam.

This category also includes some of the medical breakthroughs which the SGC uses as a result of contact with alien allies.
