Summary

Mary is a member of a pre-Chaucer Middle Ages Christian village on a planet ruled by the Goa'uld Sokar. She was chained to a post in the courtyard as the next "sacrifice" to the Sokar's Unas "demon", who would come through the Stargate regularly and take the humans away to become new Goa'uld hosts. She was placed as a sacrifice because she was ill with chickenpox, mistakenly considered being possessed by demons. Her protector, Simon, befriended SG-1 and together they freed her people from Sokar's oppression. (3.08 "Demons")
