Stargate SG-1 Season Nine Transcripts

O'Neill is promoted and appoints his replacement at the SGC, Gen. Hank Landry. Newcomer Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell finds himself commander and sole member of SG-1. When the roguish Vala asks Daniel for help in finding an Ancient treasure linked to Arthurian Avalon, the makeshift team of Mitchell, Daniel, Teal'c, and Vala set off on a grand adventure which quickly turns life-threatening.

Still in the underground caverns of Avalon, the team faces several challenges to prove their worthiness and scholarship as a test to access the knowledge of the Ancients who returned to Earth 10,000 years ago. The thrill of success is soon replaced with fear and uncertainty after Daniel and Vala activate a newly-discovered Ancient device.

Daniel and Vala, still in the grips of the Ancient communications device, encounter a Prior, a zealous missionary and highly evolved human with zero tolerance for unbelievers. While this Prior takes them to meet his fiery gods the Ori, another Prior arrives in the Milky Way galaxy to begin preaching Origin, the path to enlightenment. Those who stray from the path...die.

Daniel learns he and the wilful Vala have been permanently bound together by means of an alien energy field in the bracelets she used to trap him in order to protect her profit in the Avalon adventure. The ties that bind them can be broken, but only if Daniel, Mitchell and Teal'c undertake a series of dangerous bartering missions under Vala's wily eye.

Vala returns to a planet where she was once worshipped as a god, only to face some unexpected trials when Daniel convinces her to tell the impoverished people the truth about being a host freed from her Goa'uld symbiote. Condemned to death for her pains, Vala has to help SG-1 battle both the Priors of the Ori and a destructive plague.

Gen. Landry recalls Carter from Area 51 in the hope her new weapon will destroy a force field placed on a Free Jaffa planet by the Ori. Peaceful negotiations fail and the weapon is used, but instead of destroying the force field, it enhances it, and soon, the entire planet is threatened. The problem can be solved, but it might require someone to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Since the defeat of Anubis, the fallen Goa'uld System Lord Ba'al has been comfortably hiding out on Earth, flourishing as an aggressive capitalist - and criminal - and laying the foundations of a new empire. While efforts to locate and capture him badly strain the alliance between the Tau'ri and the Jaffa, Ba'al has a devious plan to secure his freedom.

Gravely wounded in a battle with Sodan warrior Volnek, Mitchell is taken captive by the legendary Sodan Jaffa sect and nursed back to health in order to prepare him for a fight to the death as atonement for spilling sacred Sodan blood. Meanwhile, Teal'c, Carter and Daniel struggle to convince the 'dead' Sodan they're not his enemy.

The team discovers that Anubis left behind a mutant human, Khalek, with both his genetic memories and the potential to ascend. Even after Daniel warns of the incredible danger keeping Khalek alive poses, IOC representative Woolsey insists studying him could give the SGC valuable information in their fight against the equally advanced Priors of the Ori.

The Ori make their first determined bid for dominion on Earth in the form of a deadly plague. As the pandemic rapidly spreads over the planet, Carter's one-time lover Orlin descends in the form of a child, his memories of ascension intact, in order to help SG-1 formulate a cure. Orlin reveals that the Ori suck energy from their worshippers, offering not enlightenment but oblivion.

Guide | Transcript
When Orlin needs a blood sample from a Prior in order to perfect his cure for the plague, Daniel and Mitchell turn to the Sodan for assistance. Orlin's battle to retain memories from his ascension is causing brain damage, but he uses the last of his strength to travel to the Sodan world and confront the trapped Prior. SG-1 learn that the Ori plan to kill all the Ancients in the Milky Way galaxy.

On an alien planet, Col. Mitchell experiences the power of a memory altering technology the SGC wants to secure, gets involved with the leading scientist, and is accused of her brutal murder. His own memories confirm that he committed the crime. SG-1 must protect Mitchell while they prove his innocence, and find the real killer.

When alternate realities collide, duplicate SG-1 teams arrive at the SGC. They're facing great challenges in their own realities but it might not be possible to send them home. The "real" SG-1 soon learns that not all teams are exact duplicates — some of them are more desperate to save their worlds than others.

Members of the Jaffa High Council are showing unusual behavior and an old enemy, thought dead, is revealed to be behind the conspiracy. Teal'c and Bra'tac's investigation leads them both into danger. Meanwhile, one of Mitchell's old friends is about to die and wants to know the truth about his involvement in the Stargate programme.

Jared Kane asks Daniel for help in preventing the Rand Protectorate from committing genocide against the Caledonian Federation by using a weapon the Ori helped them build. Daniel attempts diplomacy while his teammates arrive in orbit onboard the Prometheus. As in any war, casualties are expected, but the price turns out to be extremely high for everyone involved — including the SGC.

SG-1 investigates a planet whose main crop is the highly addictive kassa. Mitchell's impersonation of a drug dealer fails to impress the Lucian Alliance. The irate criminals pursue SG-1 to the Stargate, only to see it disappear before their eyes. They take the trapped team prisoner, blaming them for the loss of the gate. Can SG-1 hold out against torture until the new '304 Odyssey arrives?

During what was intended to be a routine mission babysitting members of the civilian International Oversight Committee through a PR visit to the Gamma Site, SG-1 and their party come up against something totally unexpected and deadly. A scientific experiment goes terribly wrong, unleashing the latest Ori plague to devastating effect.

Mitchell and Carter are sent into another dimension after activating a personal cloaking device. While Daniel leads an investigation to find his missing teammates, Mitchell decides to use the technology to his advantage when a similarly cloaked assassin attacks the Sodan. Daniel and Carter learn from the device that the Ancient Merlin had designed a weapon against ascended beings.

Using the Ancient communication device and its stones, Vala takes over Daniel’s body at the SGC and recounts the story of what has happened to her since she was transported to the galaxy of the Ori. She is married and mysteriously pregnant, and she warns the SGC that the Ori are gathering ships and armies for a massive crusade to rid the Milky Way galaxy of its evil unbelievers.

SG-1 travels to a medieval village on an alien planet in search of Merlin’s Ancient weapon. The village is known as Camelot, and the legend of King Arthur is alive and well there, complete with a library known to belong to Merlin. The team knows they need to get into the library, but according to the local legend, it is guarded by a Black Knight. Anyone who enters will die.
