The
Travelers are a group of humans who have managed to evade the
Wraith by living in spaceships. Originally, they had a homeworld, but over the generations, life on a spaceship is all that they know. They visit worlds that have been wiped out by the Wraith to scavenge for technology, but they aren't totally isolated as they do engage in trading. Despite strict population control, their numbers are growing, forcing them to leave some of their people "on the ground". Recently, however, they found and refurbished an
Ancient Aurora-class warship, which they took into the allied fleet's battle against the
Asurans, the Pegasus Replicators. The Travelers were introduced in
Stargate Atlantis: 4.05 "Travelers".
