Geopolitical and Structural History

P2X-005 was an unpopulated heavily forested world with a Stargate. It apparently was close to the planet Hebridan, maybe even in the same system. The sky above would show a luminous layer of ionized gas from the dying core expanding after sunset.

The prison transport ship Seberus from Hebridan hit an asteroid field and crash landed into a creek bed on the planet. The three prisoners being transported were taken out of stasis. They were able to seize control and killed their guards, but could not get the ship working again. The captain and first officer were away from the Seberus. They tried several times to regain the upper hand, until they were the only ones left of the eight person crew.

Three years later, SG-1 arrived on the planet for a recon and astronomical observation mission. The team discovered the crashed Seberus and encountered three human survivors. SG-1 agreed to help them get their ship working in the hopes of learning some of their technology and hopefully gaining an ally. Col. O'Neill however remained wary towards "Capt." Aden Corso and his crew, although they did not outwardly do anything wrong.

O'Neill's instincts became more honed when the group was attacked by two humanoid aliens who used the same weapons as the human members of the Seberus. O'Neill tried to take one of the humanoids captive but he was killed in the firefight. Jonas escorted one of Aden's cohorts, the woman Reynard, back to the SGC after she was wounded in the same firefight, while SG-15 was sent to P2X-005 to provide back up to SG-1.

Carter was able to get the ship working again, including the last communication from the ship, which announced it was a prison transport. She, in turn confronted Corso, but didn't believe his lies since he had stolen her radio. In the meantime, O'Neill and Teal'c finally found the sole surviving humanoid alien, who explained he was the real captain of the Seberus, Warrick. Jonas's own independent research had discovered an ancient Celtic prison ship called Ceberus on Earth. That coupled with Reynard's attempts to break into the SGC computers had also raised their suspicions, and Stargate Command set a trap.

Corso and his two accomplices were caught in the SGC's trap and delivered to Warrick's custody. He placed them back in stasis and departed P2X-005 for Hebridan in the Seberus, grateful for SG-1's help.
