The Trust is a group of ex-NID agents who operate against the law in order to obtain advanced alien technology to protect Earth. They have resorted to kidnapping, blackmail, unauthorized surveillance, use of false identifications, coercion, obstruction of justice, and possibly murder to obtain their group's objectives.
