[[SG-1]] helped the people free themselves of the Goa'uld's tyranny and instructed them to bury their [[Stargate]] after SG-1 left to prevent any more of Sokar's Unas "demons" from taking their people again. These highly devout, simple people were introduced in the episode, [[3.08 "Demons" Episode Guide|3.08 "Demons"]].
