Gen. Landry recalls Lt. Col. Samantha Carter from Area 51 in the hope that her new weapon will destroy a force field placed on a Free Jaffa planet by the Ori. Peaceful negotiations fail and the weapon is used, but instead of destroying the force field, it enhances it, and soon, the entire planet is threatened. The problem can be solved, but it might require someone to make the ultimate sacrifice.
