Many changes await the SGC has Brig. Gen. Jack O'Neill is promoted to head up Homeworld Security and appoints his replacement, Gen. Hank Landry. Daniel, Carter, and Teal'c have gone their separate ways. Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell joins the Stargate Program and finds himself quickly occupied rebuilding the team once known as SG-1.
The Ancients have left a legacy only now being discovered by the team: They find that not only did the Ancients leave behind their stories of Atlantis, but also of Arthurian Avalon. But, with the thrill of discovery comes the realization that they have attracted the attention of an enemy which threatens the very galactic peace for which they have fought for so long.
