Long-defeated enemies from the past are suddenly threatening the present as the fabric of time is disturbed.  Details are scarce but there is time travel involved and many old faces return, including Kawalsky, Major Davis, Hammond, and Ra.  The team travels back in time to fix the damage, and in one case Teal'c is still Apophis' First Prime.  O'Neill and Carter kiss.
Catherine Langford has died and Daniel inherits her collection in which he finds reference to a Zero Point Module (ZPM) in a book about Ra in Egypt from 3,000 B.C. With the hope of powering Earth's defenses in Antarctica and forming a stable wormhole to the Pegasus Galaxy, Jack and SG-1 use an Ancient time machine to go back in time 5,000 years to retrieve the ZPM, but something goes terribly wrong and they create a different future in which the Stargate Program does not exist and their alternate selves lead very different lives.
