With the governments of Earth arguing jurisdiction and the Goa'uld pursuing access to the Ancient superweapon used by O'Neill to destroy Anubis, Daniel Jackson and Dr. Elizabeth Weir face tough negotiations.  Amaterasu, Camulus and Lord Yu negotiate on behalf of the desperate System Lords, facing annihilation by Ba'al.  Meanwhile, Carter and Teal'c set off in pursuit of the Asgard to ask their help in reviving O'Neill from stasis.  They find Thor just as the Replicators he is guarding take control of the time dilation device trapping them and break away.  The Replicators beam Carter aboard and she finds herself facing a vengeful, betrayed Fifth who tortures her mercilessly.
