Geopolitical Structure and History

A city was in the area immediately around the Stargate. Since the aliens that existed there are a relatively unknown life form, it is difficult to tell if this was their culture, or one abandoned by another species. Dr. Daniel Jackson studied the small bit of video footage from the planet, but could not link it to any ancient culture on Earth.

The species that existed there were susceptible to radio waves. When the SGC sent a MALP and transmitted and received radio waves from the device, the link became a contagion that killed many before the source could be located. Believing the radio signal to be an attack, the natives sent one or more beings back through the Stargate as feedback on the radio waves to destroy the attacker and save their world.

P4X-377 was locked out of the SGC dialing computers. The Entity itself that attacked the base was eventually destroyed, but not before it had possessed Samantha Carter, almost killing her.
