Summary
Mubastas is the location of the Goa'uld Bastet's headquarters. Lord Yu and Daniel Jackson, posing as Yu's servant Jarren, mentioned the place in passing (5.15 "Summit Part 1"). Bastet and Kali the Destroyer made a treaty with Sobek, but then betrayed him during a feast when Sobek let his guard down. According to rumor, Sobek's head still decorated Bastet's palace in Mubastas.
