Summary
Mala was a member of a group of Jaffa women who rescued baby girls born to the Jaffa under the Goa'uld Moloc. These girls were destined to be burned as soon as they were born in an effort by Moloc to control his Jaffa population. When SG-1 offered her group the chance to try tretonin as a replacement to their raiding their fellow male Jaffa for their symbiotes for the growing girls, Mala was one of the first to volunteer. Her system did not react well to the tretonin and when Dr. Fraiser tried to reintroduce her symbiote, Mala died, in the episode, 7.10 "Birthright".
