Geopolitical Structure and History

Hathor's planet was in a temperate zone, filled with rolling hills. The area of the Stargate had staff cannons hidden underground that could rise up and guard the region. Additionally, a Goa'uld forcefield could be erected that completely encompassed the area around the Stargate, including underground, it was powered by a huge generator inside Hathor's base. A base was set up some distance from the Stargate, half decorated like a typical Goa'uld ha'tak and half a mock-up of Stargate Command. Underneath the compound and leading to the Stargate was a network of Tok'ra crystal tunnels.

After Hathor's escape from Stargate Command, she settled on this unnamed planet. Here she surreptitiously convinced several Jaffa to leave their various gods and join her army. Her centuries trapped in the sarcophagus made her leery of having her presence known until she was more certain of the political situation amongst the system lords and the galaxy's situation in general. She knew Stargate Command had better knowledge of the state of the galaxy, so she had an exact replica built of the SGC base within her compound. She set a trap on another planet and captured SG-1, taking the human members and leaving Teal'c for dead.

Once in her stronghold, Hathor remained an invisible presence and allowed Goa'uld lackeys to work the charade. They took each member of SG-1 out of a cryogenic stasis, convinced them that almost 79 years had passed, that their teammates and everyone else they knew was dead. Trofsky and Raully used memory recall devices to get SG-1 to talk about their missions and contacts with Goa'uld and other alien races. Any discrepancies in the base were explained by it being a "different time". When not interrogating a member of the team, Trofsky and Raully kept the members of SG-1 sedated.

O'Neill, suspicious of these strangers even after having toured "the base" and seeing ostensibly futuristic SGC personnel, blocked his sedative line and did some reconnaissance of his own. He discovered the base was a facade amongst a Goa'uld ship. Eventually he came across Samantha Carter and Daniel Jackson and freed them as well. The team tried to escape through the "base" Stargate, but discovered it was only a mockup. It was then the invisible Hathor made her presence known and recaptured the team.

The SGC learned the location of Hathor's base from the Tok'ra, who had a spy stationed within the compound. Hammond ordered a rescue mission teamed with volunteers: all the teams on base at the time, SG-3, SG-5, SG-7, and SG-11, stepped forward.

After a first aborted attempt to blend a mature Goa'uld symbiote with O'Neill, Hathor ordered him restrained in a stasis chamber while his teammates watched. Just as the symbiote was implanted, SG rescue teams stormed the facility. Hathor ordered Daniel and Sam taken away and left with Trofsky and her Jaffa to counter the threat. Raully, who was the Tok'ra spy, put O'Neill in the cryogenic stasis, knowing the cold temperature would kill the symbiote.

The rescue teams recovered Cpt. Carter and Dr. Jackson but the team left guarding the Gate were killed by Trofsky and Jaffa. The rescue forces and the two SG-1 members were pinned down: cut off from the Stargate by the forceshield and under fire from the staff cannons; the group stumbled upon the Tok'ra tunnels and hid from Hathor's forces there. They received radio contact from the SGC, who informed them when reinforcements would arrive. Capt. Carter returned to the compound to try and disable the power generator for the shield while Dr. Jackson, injured from shrapnel, and the others continued to evade Hathor's Jaffa in the tunnels.

O'Neill came out of the cryogenic cycle free of the symbiote to discover the Tok'ra spy injured by Hathor, and a recaptured Carter held in the grips of Hathor's ribbon device. O'Neill threw the distracted Goa'uld into the cryogenic chemicals, killing her. Raully explained the generator was hidden behind the mock Stargate in the "SGC" part of the compound. Carter and O'Neill were able to set charges on the power generator and tried to rejoin the others.

Meanwhile Daniel Jackson and the rescue team were recaptured by Trofsky. They were held as hostages by the Stargate as Trofsky ordered Carter's surrender. O'Neill pretended to be Goa'uld as a stalling distraction until it was time for Carter to remote trigger the explosive charges. Hammond and Teal'c, in an outdated death glider size ship, came through the Stargate and destroyed the Jaffa cannons while Bra'tac and some other rebel Jaffa overpowered the group holding the original rescue team.
