Summary
Mr. Crandall was a work associate of Dr. Daniel Jackson's in an alternate timeline created by a time traveling SG-1. Dr. Daniel Jackson was an archaeologist as well, but because his theories about the pyramids was discounted and he was shunned by the archaeological community, he had to fall back on his linguistic skills and teach English as a second language.
