The government of the United States is housed in several buildings in Washington, D.C. Throughout the years, various political bodies have been represented in the Stargate universe: President Henry Hayes, Vice President Robert Kinsey, the Department of Defense housed at the Pentagon, as well as the various military departments, including the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marines.
