The Lucian Alliance was a coalition of former smugglers and mercenaries who banded together to take advantage of the power vacuum left by the demise of the Goa'uld (9.04 "The Ties That Bind"). At one time they were a serious threat to the Free Jaffa Nation and to the Tau'ri, but in-fighting and the Ori crusade in the Milky Way saw to their eventual downfall (10.15 "Bounty").
