So how did "Earth" hit you? Here's a rundown of the episode in case you haven't seen it yet: 1.07 Earth.

I think the body swapping parts are going up a level. I am wondering since Telford jumped back into his own body while the bedroom romp was going on made him come back for more. Will he trick her into doing it again thinking he is Col Young? What did Rush do to the ship? Was he worried that they might wormwhole back to the earth? Or was it that it really wouldn't work and he did something to get rid of Telford?
Something I have wondered why isn't there a team of scientist working on zpms? Why can't the 3 zpms running the stargate on atlantis make an open wormhole to the destiny? And where the heck is Rodney, Sam and Daniel. The foremost experts in the ancients and thier technology?

These episodes are making less and less sense to me.  The only reason I liked this one was because Richard Dean Anderson was on it.

bwssr   all your questions are so valid, unfortunately I do not have answers for any of them.

I also do not understand why is so necessary to have sex scenes on each episode too.  Is SGU trying to compete with gossip girls or what is the deal?  Like I said, I do not get it.

I am really disenchanted.

Rush and Brody sabotaged things so the wormhole wouldn't connect to Earth...although he claimed it wouldn't have worked anyway and would've torn the ship apart if he hadn't let safeguards in place (I guess that's why teh Stargate sparked...but the alarms and locking out the Earth people was his doing).

As for the other questions, your guess is as good as mine about Rush and why if these are "the wrong people" why there's not more switching with experts to keep things going.  Or why Telford went to the door at the end.

Ugh. Yet another dissapointing SGU episode. It had high points, but but the plot was confusing, the people were confusing, and all the daydreams were confusing. And I was really disapointed by the sex scene. I knew this stuff was coming, but it still saddens me to see the stargate creators walk that road with the formerly family friendly stargate name. The only high points involved Eli. And though I loved seeing Jack, he seemed way to much out of character. He didn't seem like the Jack we knew and loved off of SG-1. Yet another dissapointment, and SGU seems to be a whole new stargate, and not in a good way.
