If it's sci-fi, I'm there.

I got mine from 'Major Sheppard', in the first season of SGA, and the 'Shipper' part comes from my various and somtimes strange ships.

Think I might have answered this before, don't remember.  Got mine from a robot in the Classic Sci Fi movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still".  Love the movie and loved the abilities and the reason for the robot's existence.  So I took the name.  BTW  "Klaatu barada nicto".

When I first started watching Stargate my favorite character was (is) Daniel. The "Spacemonkey" moment is my favorite moment in the forst season. And Jackson is Danny-boy's last name. Cheesy

Nirmanakaya is a budhism terms that means  a perfected astral body, and is referred to as a body of transformation.

"Nirmanakaya

(Sanskrit) A compound of two words: nirmana, a participle meaning "forming," "creating"; kaya, a word meaning "body," "robe," "vehicle"; thus, nirmanakaya means "formed-body." A nirmanakaya, however, is really a state assumed by or entered into by a bodhisattva  - an individual man made semi-divine who, to use popular language, instead of choosing his reward in the nirvana of a less degree, remains on earth out of pity and compassion for inferior beings, clothing himself in a nirmanakayic vesture. When that state is ended the nirmanakaya ends.

Interesting.

I got my name years ago when I started playing computer games at a local Gaming cafe. I wanted to use "Major Payne" but I couldn't remember how to spell it because I was so young. I instead used Mr Pain as it was easier to spell and sounded cool. Since then I've continued to use it but usually offline as a lot of gamers around the world also use it. It's one of the most popular gaming names in the world but I didn't know that at the time Sad. I have two other usernames that I use too.

I guess I should explain how I got the name Atlantica....I was just thinking one day about how my avatar was Atlantis, and I realized how much I love Atlantis, so I started thinking of Atlantis-related names, and I eventually descided on this one because I love it so very much Smiley
